To mark our 30th anniversary as an independent provider of structural engineering software solutions, we are pleased to announce the release of S-FRAME Structural Office R10.0, the next major release of our product suite:

The S-FRAME enhancements are specifically designed to support new industry trends for more advanced forms of dynamic analysis, including seismic loading analysis, and the trend towards larger and more complex models, due to more prevalent use of 'shell' finite elements (FE's) and the influence of BIM (Building Information Modeling).

S-PAD™ R10.0

S-PAD is a new stand-alone application with a simple spreadsheet-like interface to S-STEEL's powerful steel-design and code- check capabilities. Included within S-PAD is advanced code checking capabilities and auto-design to multiple design codes (AISC, CSA, BS, AS, NZS, EU) for both strength and serviceability. S-PAD offers the following:

A simple and intuitive spreadsheet layout

Multiple design codes including the current CSA, AISC, and EURO codes

A comprehensive set of user-controlled design input and constraint parameters

Up to 20 design cases can be checked simultaneously

Input can be pasted to/from external spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel

Input files can be saved and can contain multiple worksheets each with up to 20 design cases

Auto-design gives an automatically sorted list of passing sections to easily identify the optimum

Detailed design calculations can be viewed for all sections
