About Us

At S-FRAME Software Inc., our mission is to provide easy-to-use, accurate and reliable structural engineering analysis and design solutions through our Structural Office ™ suite of tools.   Founded in 1981 by Mr. George Casoli, P.Eng, S-FRAME Software Inc., formerly known as SOFTEK Services, has successfully led the way with new and innovative software products that have helped thousands of structural and civil engineers worldwide in a diverse range of industries including: commercial & institutional buildings, airport terminals, rail & transit, hospitals, skyscrapers, bridges, parking structures, sports arenas, domes, inflatable structures, industrial plants & warehouses, utilities, oil & gas, and offshore structures.

Our first commercially available 2D analysis program (P-FRAME®) was launched in 1981.   In 1987 the first version of our flagship 3D analysis program S-FRAME® was introduced.   In 1995 we introduced our first Windows® version of our analysis programs S-FRAME®, P-FRAME®, and our first steel-design program S-STEEL™.   Over the next three years (1996-1998) we introduced three new concrete-design programs: B-SECT, C-SECT and W-SECT and in 2001 we introduced our continuous beam reinforced concrete design program, B-LINE, recently renamed S-LINE.   These products were market leaders and remain best-in-class with respect to ease-of-use, depth and breadth of capabilities, design code support, quality, and detailed design report generation.

Late last year, Mr. Casoli was pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Marinos Stylianou as the Chief Executive Officer to lead us to a higher level of product innovation and customer service.   Dr. Stylianou brought with him extensive knowledge in the field of finite element analysis and many years of experience in global leadership roles at some of the world’s largest and most advanced engineering simulation companies.   Their relationship goes back to the early nineties when Dr. Stylianou led the S-FRAME solver development team and they both share the same passion for excellence in customer satisfaction.   To mark our 30th anniversary as an independent provider of structural engineering software solutions, we have recently announce the release of Structural Office R10.0 – a major new release of S-FRAME®, S-STEEL™, S-PAD™, S-CONCRETE™ and S-LINE™.   R10.0 leverages 30 years of knowledge and experience in Analysis, Design and Detailing gained through serving over 3,500 structural and civil engineers worldwide in a multitude of applications and industries.

Our goal has always been to provide easy-to-use Analysis and Design tools that enable our users to produce Robust Designs; designs that are not sensitive to loading variations and deviations from the intended design specifications during a structure’s life cycle. The success and satisfaction of our customers is our top priority and we intend to honor our responsibility to our customers by developing best-in-class products and backing them with one of the industry’s most dedicated and responsive customer support teams.
